BUGIS Art Version

A new Art version of the BUGIS Seafarers is now available (fore FREE) in the Photography section of PadPlaces.
These are 48 photos taken from the original story, still available in the Reportage section of the App.

LO MA and CHINESE OPERA stories updated

Two stories in PadPlaces, CHINESE OPERA IN BANGKOK, and LOMA GIRL OF THE MUAY THAI, have been updated with new and revised images.

If you had downloaded these stories we suggest you download them again to get the latest version.

And please update the app to the latest 4.3 update, and send us feedback on the functionality..

PadPlaces 4.3 UPDATE AVAILABLE NOW

The update for PadPlaces app, version 4.3, is finally available on iTunes. This version is solving issues with iOS 9 and offers higher resolution images.

In a short time we will give you infos on new content and discounted stories.

A technical note: if you have issues in updating the app (such as seeing old menu images, a problem that may be caused by your device cache) we suggest to delete the old version and install the app as new. You might need to download the previously installed contents again but you will not need to pay, of course, and you will have the latest version.

SPIRITUALITY IN SOUTHEAST ASIA

SPIRITUALITY IN SOUTHEAST ASIA is the new photo book now available in PadPlaces app, but also in the paperback edition and, as usual, on Amazon Kindle, Apple iBooks and Google Play. To find the related links see the page "Where to Find Our Books" in this blog.

The book is photographic and graphic gallery dedicated to the intense spirituality of Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. A human mosaic where color and culture are surviving globalization at least in this aspect of life.

The photographs are selected and revisited to create a visual experience (there is no text or captioning) that is like a trip in the intimate soul of Asia humanity.

BANGKOK Portfolio & TPW WORKSHOP 2016

The selection of images shoot in Bangkok during my 2015 permanence in the city is now available as portfolio for free within PadPlaces App in the Photography section.

Many of the images were shoot during the TPW Workshop in the city, a great occasion to rediscover the many contrasts of the metropolis.
We look forward to replicate the experience next February (13th through 20th) and you are welcome to join.

Please keep in mind that we are still working on the App update for iOS 9 that will be available soon.

WE ARE WORKING... AGAIN..

Not that we ever stopped.. But we are finally back to work on PadPlaces app and it's contents.

We are aware that iOS9 is giving several issues to the App on certain devices, and we are working to fix them.
A update version will be released very soon.

Several new stories and books are already there or on the way.
We'll be inform about them with specifics on these pages soon.

NEPAL A TRIBUTE is now in PadPlaces

A photographic gallery of the images shot just before the earthquake is available for free in the app.
Thanks for supporting the people of NEPAL.

"This is a tribute to the people and culture of Nepal, tragically hit by a devastating earthquake.
I shot these images a few days before the tragedy: most of these monuments are not standing any longer, the destiny of most of the people is unknown.
Nepal and Nepali people will go back to their life and history, but it will take time and a lot of help.

VERSION 4.1 (UPDATE) NOW AVAILABLE

Glad to announce that an important update for PadPlaces is now available on iTunes.

Version 4.1 has a redesigned layout for iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Optimized for iOS 8, it resolves push notifications issues and other bugs.

Furthermore you will not need to download again the stories and books already purchased or downloaded that are already in you My Stories library.
